Favorite Activities

  • Ms. Todd loves people and attention. The noises she makes show her excitement.
  • She is especially noisy to new keepers to get their attention.
  • She LOVES her toy pig that honks! She carries it around like a trophy and buries it because it is precious to her.

Fun Facts

  • Originally, Ms. Todd was thought to be male. When she had a medical exam years later, it was revealed that she was a she! The zoo changed her name from Todd to Ms. Todd as a cute correction.
  • Her winter coat is SUPER fluffy, and she looks like a pancake.
  • She sheds in the spring, starting at her nose back to her tail. There is a stark vertical line between her winter coat and her spring coat.
  • She is getting a new enclosure across from the coyotes that is under construction in 2025.

Training Behaviors

  • Ms. Todd is incredibly smart. The keepers use puzzle feeders and different contraptions for enrichment with food. Keeping her brain engaged helps her to be content. She is nearly impossible to stump and amazes the keepers with her memory and problem-solving skills.

Regular Foods

Ms. Todd eats chunk meat, specially formulated omnivore pellets, and proteins.

She loves honey and rabbits. She's been known to bury the rabbit like a treasure.
