Zoo Idaho's Mission

CONSERVATION AND EDUCATION
Zoo Idaho is dedicated to preserving intermountain west wildlife and habitat through conservation and education. It plays a crucial role in raising awareness about the importance of wildlife preservation.

REHABILITATION OF NON-RELEASABLE WILDLIFE
The zoo provides a home for non-releasable wildlife that would otherwise struggle to survive in the wild. This helps in maintaining biodiversity and preventing the unnecessary loss of animal lives.

PARTNERSHIP WITH IDAHO FISH AND GAME
The collaboration with Idaho Fish and Game ensures that Zoo Idaho is aligned with state wildlife management efforts, contributing to the overall well-being of Idaho’s wildlife.
